<video:title>Capitol Reef to Moab: Scenic Drive + Epic Boondocking Setup</video:title>
<video:thumbnail_loc>https://i.ytimg.com/vi/MBxYn8z8K1g/maxresdefault.jpg</video:thumbnail_loc>
<video:description>In this episode we explore one of Utah’s most underrated national parks before hitting one of the most scenic drives in the entire country.

We start our day in Capitol Reef National Park, hiking the iconic Hickman Bridge Trail. This short but stunning hike leads to a massive natural bridge and gives us our first taste of the rugged beauty that defines this park.

From there, we hit the road and take you along Highway 24 and Scenic Byway 12, a drive that completely blew us away. Around every corner, the landscape transforms—towering red rock cliffs, winding canyons, open desert, and some of the most unique scenery we’ve ever experienced.

After an epic day of exploring, we roll into the Moab area with one mission: find the perfect boondocking spot. It takes a bit of searching, but we finally score an incredible free campsite just outside of town.

To wrap things up, we give you a full tour of our boondocking setup—how we park, level, manage power, and make off-grid RV living comfortable and efficient.

If you’re planning a Utah road trip or thinking about trying boondocking for yourself, this is an episode you won’t want to miss.

<video:description>🌍 The Grand Canyon really deserves a much bigger name. It's the most inaccurately named National Park that we've been to as it's way more than simply 'grand'.

We also visited a small but fabulous part of Route 66. Come with us as we explore more of the USA's south west.

👉🏻 We spent six months travelling across Canada, after shipping our van over from the UK. Now we're in the USA and we're spending another six months exploring this country and Mexico. See our whole trip so far on our channel; http://bit.ly/46lDHfd

We’re Sarah and Ben, a couple from the UK who’ve been on the road for years. Back in 2020, when the world went bonkers, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We bought an empty Mercedes Sprinter van and started transforming it into our dream home on wheels. And guess what? We’ve been on an incredible adventure, exploring every corner of Europe! From the sunny southern tip of Portugal to the eastern shores of Bulgaria, and even the icy northernmost tip of Norway, over 300 miles into the Arctic. It’s been an unforgettable journey, and we wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world!

To explore even more of this fabulous world, we have shipped our van over to Canada and we are embarking on an epic adventure around North America.

Follow us as we explore the World and check back at our videos to see our van build and all our other travels in Europe.

<video:title>Risking HUGE rapids on the Kicking Horse River - 1 year campervan trip across North America</video:title>
<video:thumbnail_loc>https://i.ytimg.com/vi/g3GJIRJuFYg/maxresdefault.jpg</video:thumbnail_loc>
<video:description>In this week's video we find Canada's G spot. Then we work out how to avoid the wildfires that are burning across Canada and make plans for our route.

We then travel to Banff but find it wasn't really a place for us, although the curry was excellent. Then on to explore the tourist hotspots of Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. These are beautiful; that's why the tourists flock there in their thousands.

A little quieter was Takakkaw Falls, the magnificent waterfall that thunders over 1200 feet into the valley below.

Next was the drive down to Golden, in the Columbia River Valley. This is a great base for activities like hiking, climbing and other fun activities. Here we took a ride up to a mountain top to see one of the best views in the Rockies. Then, we took our lives in our hands as we went whitewater river rafting on the Kicking Horse River. This was huge fun and quite safe really.

Come with us as we explore North America in our self built Mercedes Sprinter camper van.

<video:title>How to Follow the 2026 FIFA World Cup by RV (Hotels vs RV Costs Explained)</video:title>
<video:thumbnail_loc>https://i.ytimg.com/vi/II9492VpPsI/maxresdefault.jpg</video:thumbnail_loc>
<video:description>⚽🚐 Want to follow your favorite team across the 2026 FIFA World Cup — and explore North America along the way? An RV makes it possible.

In this video, we break down EVERYTHING you need to plan the ultimate World Cup road trip by RV — from host cities and scenic routes to camping strategies, costs, and safety tips for international travelers.

You’ll learn:
• What makes the 2026 FIFA World Cup unique (3 countries, 16 cities, 48 teams)
• All World Cup host cities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico
• Why RV travel beats hotels during mega-events (price spikes over 400%)
• How RV travel combines transportation + lodging + cooking in one setup
• Best RV camping strategies near World Cup host cities
• Hotel vs RV cost comparisons for groups and families
• RV rental strategies (delivery, one-way rentals, local vs long-distance pickup)
• Public transit limitations and how to get to matches
• Scenic road trips and national parks near host cities
• Safety tips, scams to avoid, and planning timelines
• International visitor requirements (licenses, visas, border rules)
• Why booking early matters — RV inventory is limited and demand spikes fast

With the 2026 World Cup overlapping peak summer travel, Route 66’s 100th anniversary, and America’s 250th birthday, this is expected to be the largest sports travel event in history.

This isn’t just a vacation — it’s a World Cup tour across North America.

<video:description>We tried to visit Grand Teton and Yellowstone in one day… after being woken up by a bear at 3:30am.

It turned into a long, beautiful, slightly chaotic day in Harvey, our 26 year old motorhome, as we squeezed two national parks, busy car parks, Junior Ranger badges, mountain roads and one very tired family into a single USA road trip.

We’re Tom and Ros, with Lawrie and Wilfy, travelling across North America in our old RV Harvey and sharing the real highs, mistakes and everyday chaos of family travel.

<video:title>Two National Parks in One Day Was Too Much</video:title>
<video:thumbnail_loc>https://i.ytimg.com/vi/9Uc8cww46U8/maxresdefault.jpg</video:thumbnail_loc>

<video:title>The Norway Nobody Sees Beyond the 2026 FIFA World Cup | Driving to the Arctic: Cozy Van Life Camping</video:title>
<video:thumbnail_loc>https://i.ytimg.com/vi/87xZGrK9D9g/maxresdefault.jpg</video:thumbnail_loc>
<video:description>Backroads to the Arctic: Ep 2: Full time cozy van living and camping alone in the secret North.

This isn’t the Norway most visitors ever see. Leaving the highways behind, I disappear into a forgotten network of mountain roads, ancient valleys, and hidden landscapes that feel untouched by time. Mile after mile, civilization fades into the distance as I venture deeper into the secret heart of the North. I am surrounded by the old and ancient: Trolls, viking history, Peer Gynt, Jotunheimen, Rondane, old forest, cabins and farms. But also Fifa world cup 2026, Norway and Haaland. Today or tomorrow is Norway against Brazil in New York! Also happy 4th of July to my American friends, and happy belated Canada Day Canadian friends!

Ahead lies thousands of kilometers of wilderness, remote cozy van life camping, changing weather, and the long backroads to the Arctic.

As the rain arrives, I find a quiet places to spend the night, cook homemade chili in the van. I am back where I find peace and where my life feels complete and I am happy with my life and choice, at this point I do not miss my townhouse or the family cabin. This is freedom on the road in my van.

If you enjoy cinematic travel, full time van life, epic road trips, remote wilderness, and discovering places few people ever experience, you’re in the right place.

Thank you for coming along on my 2026 summer adventures. Full time van living in the Arctic!

My van is a Fiat Ducato, FWD with Nokian Hakkapalitta studless Winter Tires. This is the same as a Ram Promaster in America - USA and Canada.

<video:description>If you're planning Big Bend Texas with a dog, watch this first.

Big Bend National Park doesn't allow dogs on trails — and we found out the hard way what that actually does to your trip. We had Grizzly with us, and we couldn't leave him in the cabin at Terlingua Ranch Lodge either. That's against their rules too.

This is the last day of our West Texas trip — Milky Way shots at Terlingua Ranch, drone footage at sunrise, the Terlingua Bottle House, a full dust storm through Big Bend National Park, the Santa Elena Canyon hike, final goodbyes at my sister's off-grid ranch land, and one more night under some of the darkest skies in the world.

<video:description>The video highlights the Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway (Route 9) as a recommended drive through Zion National Park, offering breathtaking red rock scenery and a 1.1-mile tunnel (0:14-0:36). This route is open year-round, unlike the main scenic canyon drive which requires a shuttle (0:36-0:45).

Key tips for visiting:

Arrive early (before 8 AM) to avoid crowds and tunnel delays (0:48-0:53).
The Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway connects the east and south entrances, providing spectacular views, especially when driving from east to west (1:00-1:19).
Large vehicles (RVs, trailers) need a special permit to pass through the tunnel (1:23-1:35).
The Canyon Overlook Trail is a popular hike located just after the tunnel on the east side (1:36-1:45).
For less crowded driving experiences, consider visiting the Kolob Canyons section of the park (2:01-2:11).
Other important considerations:

The main Zion Canyon Scenic Drive is restricted to park shuttles for most of the year (2:13-2:25).
Parking can be challenging, so arriving early is recommended (2:27-2:33).
E-bikes are a great alternative for exploring the otherwise inaccessible scenic drive (2:35-2:45)

Early timing is crucial to avoid heavy traffic, long waits at the tunnel, and crowds (0:48-0:53, 1:49-1:58). The speaker also notes that arriving early, specifically before 8:00 AM, is recommended because parking can be challenging (2:27-2:33).

The main Zion Canyon scenic drive requires a shuttle for most of the year (0:40-0:45, 2:17-2:25). This is unlike the Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway (Route 9), which is open year-round for driving (0:36-0:40). Additionally, the video suggests that e-bikes are a good way to explore this scenic drive because it is otherwise inaccessible (2:35-2:45).

he video does not specify when the Canyon Overlook Trail is open or the best time to visit it directly. However, it does mention that the trail is a popular short hike located just after the tunnel on the east side (1:36-1:45).

<video:description>Finding great free campsites isn’t about luck - it’s about a little patience, research, and using the right tools. Here’s how we do it:

🗺️ We start with public land - National Forests and BLM land allow dispersed camping in many areas. Knowing where that land is makes all the difference. Avenza oftentimes offers free map overlays.
💻 We check the website of the public land we are planning to camp on to make sure we are aware of any camping regulations.
🛰️ Satellite view is our best friend - we look for clearings, pullouts, and existing camps far off main roads.
📱 We cross-check apps and maps - Campendium, iOverlander, and the Dyrt help, but we never rely on just one source.
🚙 We’re flexible and scout in person - sometimes the best spots aren’t marked, and sometimes the “perfect” pin just doesn’t work out.
🌅 We usually have Plans A-F ready. Finding a good spot often means trying a few before committing.

And the unspoken rule that matters most:
🌿 Leave it better than you found it. If a spot looks trashed or overused, we don’t stay. Free camping only stays free if we take care of it.

Belly of the Dragon Utah |Unique Southern Utah Attraction.
Highway 89 near Mount Carmel Junction in Utah. It is not that far from Kanab, Utah. The tunnel is known for its shaped that resemblance the inside of the belly of the dragon, hence the name.

Twin Hollows Campground is a free-standing campground, perfect for camping, but if you're traveling with a Class A motorhome, be careful with parking, as some parking lots are very sandy and can easily get stuck. There's also a beautiful stream out back. We stayed here for one night and were quite impressed because it's close to Zion National Park and has a tunnel that we could easily visit. There's a stream out back near our campsite, and it's dog-friendly for our three dogs.Join me as I take on the challenge of traveling in the United state with our Class A motorhome with me and my husband and three dogs! Heather Harry and Hannah, they’re Family. We've always loved adventure, and what better way to experience it than with the people and furry friends we love. Our family and adding three energetic dogs to the mix seemed like a natural fit.

Traveling with pets can be crazy, especially when it comes to space and logistics. We've had to get creative with storage and make sure everyone has their own spot in the motorhome. The dogs have their favorite spots to curl up. It's not always easy, but we're making it work. We've learned to pack smart and prioritize what we need. My partner and I take turns driving, and we've even set up a rotation for dog walks.

we’re feel relaxed and freedom wake up and eat breakfast, and playtime for the dogs. It's amazing how quickly they've adjusted to life on the road. Our dogs, Heather, Harry and Hannah, love the freedom of exploring new places. They're such great companions. Of course, there are moments of chaos, but we're learning to roll with it.

As we hit the open road, we're excited

<video:title>Free Camping Minutes From Zion! (You Won’t Believe This Spot) | Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon</video:title>
<video:thumbnail_loc>https://i.ytimg.com/vi/E3lnzIHN1JI/maxresdefault.jpg</video:thumbnail_loc>
<video:description>If you’re planning a trip to Southern Utah and want to camp for FREE, Old Highway 89 near Mount Carmel is one of the best dispersed camping areas you’ll find — especially if you want easy access to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and the quiet pine country of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. This area gives you the freedom to pick your own campsite, wake up to mountain views, and explore some of the most iconic landscapes in the American Southwest without paying for a crowded campground.

Located just minutes from the small community of Mount Carmel, Old Highway 89 is a scenic stretch of road that leads you into rugged open space managed by public land agencies that allow dispersed camping. You’ll find pull-offs, dirt roads, and open clearings where you can set up a tent, park an SUV, or bring a cargo trailer conversion! The feeling here is peaceful and remote, even though you’re close to gas, groceries, and small-town services.

The best part? You’re centered between two of Utah’s finest national parks. Zion National Park is to the southwest, with towering sandstone cliffs, narrow slot canyons, and world-class hikes like Angels Landing and The Narrows. Bryce Canyon National Park is to the northeast, famous for its red rock hoodoos that glow like fire in the early morning light. Staying at Old Highway 89 means you can visit both parks in the same trip — and return each evening to a quiet campsite under an unbelievable sky full of stars.

Dispersed camping means there are no hookups, no picnic tables, and no restrooms. You bring everything you need, pack everything out, and leave the area cleaner than you found it. That’s part of the beauty — no reservations, no crowds, no fees. Just wide-open sky, fresh air, and red canyon walls that fade into deep orange and purple at sunset.

The Old Highway 89 area works well for many kinds of travelers. If you’re car camping or SUV camping, you can pull into small level spaces tucked along the old road. If you’re traveling in a cargo </video:description>

<video:description>Best Dispersed Camping for Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park 🏕️

Experience incredible next level camping at one of the best hidden dispersed camping areas between Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park! We parked our DIY Camper right on the banks of the Snake River along Grassy Lake Road — a peaceful, first-come first-served riverside paradise with stunning views, easy park access, and epic adventure right outside our door.

How did it go?
We arrived and set up our dream riverside camp on Grassy Lake Road. Explored the beautiful Swan Lake and Heron Pond Loop in Grand Teton, grabbed pizza with epic views at Leek’s Marina, hiked to the relaxing Polecat and Huckleberry Hot Springs just steps from camp. And to top of the experience we checked out a remote Yellowstone hike from Cascade Creek Trailhead to the stunning Terraced Falls in a rarely visited corner of the park

Perfect for anyone looking for free or low-cost dispersed camping near Yellowstone, van life setups, hot springs, and quiet nature away from crowded campgrounds. Grassy Lake Road delivers unbeatable Snake River camping with quick access to both Grand Teton and Yellowstone.

Whether you're planning your next Yellowstone or Teton camping trip, searching for dispersed sites, or just love national park adventures, this spot is a must-add to your itinerary.

Drop a 🏞️ in the comments if you’d camp here or have camped Grassy Lake Road!

Safe travels and always Leave No Trace 🌲

This is a 4-day overlanding trip to the Grand Canyon with our friends Taylor and Angie and their dog, Maya. This wasn’t your typical tourist loop. We took an off-road route with wild campsites right along the canyon’s edge.

Entered the trail near St. George around 9 PM. Drove a few hours in the dark to our first camp perched at the edge of the Grand Canyon. Set up camp, made dinner by the fire, and called it a night.

Hiked the trail down to the river, rocky, unmarked, and a bit rugged, but totally worth it.
